SOS Media Corp, a downtown Edmonton digital marketing agency, is excited to be adding a creative guru to their team! Responsibilities will include:

  • Curating captivating content for multiple social media platforms as well as a diverse range of clients on a daily basis including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin and Google+
  • Writing premium copy for our agency clients including professional social media posts, blog creation, website page content development, ad slogans and call-to-action messaging
  • Working with all layers of the agency team to provide award-winning material and successful media press releases
  • Editing and proofreading pre-posted social media content for assigned client list
  • Collaborating and strategizing with social media management department leads to determine effective post types, content delivery method, and online platforms best matched to meet client campaign objectives
  • Analyzing KPI’s leading to client ROI and effectively adjusting digital strategies to continually meet defined expectations
  • Preparing written content for creative media campaigns to roll out over the digital landscape that excites clients and generate new business

Experience/Skills:

  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications or equivalent experience.
  • Solid understanding of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Google+
  • Developing effective marketing plans and analyzing marketing campaigns
  • 1-2 years experience working in a marketing department or marketing agency
  • Experience with a social media scheduling and listening tool such as Hootsuite or similar
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to take direction and constructive criticism from upper managementAbility to work as a team and individually
  • Excellent and often witty writing skills
  • Strong understanding of all the moving parts of an effective online marketing campaign
  • Excellent time management and workflow
