Facebook Marketing: Increase and Measure Store Visits
#BlogArticlesFacebook Marketing Just Got Better
There is no doubt that people are using their mobile devices more than ever when they want to purchase something or visit a store.
According to Facebook: “While people use mobile in 45% of all shopping journeys, the majority of sales still happen in brick-and-mortar businesses. In fact, more than 90% of retail sales take place in-store.”
So how do you ensure that you’re connected with your customers in every step of the sales funnel?
Facebook Marketing Features to Increase Foot Traffic To Your Store
To bridge the gap between the online world and the brick and mortar shops, Facebook is launching two new features:
Store Locator
A Native Store locator that will make it easier for users to find a store location near them, within the ad format. Take a look at a demonstration:
Facebook Store Visits
Facebook is also launching a way for businesses to measure store visits from Facebook ads.
Store visits will allow you to:
- See how many people visit your store after being exposed to your ads
- Analyze and optimize your campaigns based on store visits
Store visits will be estimated based on data from people who have enabled location services on their phone. This feature is expected to roll out to all advertisers in the next couple of months.
